I'm Kaitlyn Reed, and I'm a sophomore this year. It's only my first year on the team, but I'm enjoying everything I have experienced so far. I became interested in this program through friends. It sounded really interesting, and I like learning new things. I decided to join, and the rest is history. I attended the IRI over the summer, and the energy that everyone had was overwhelming. I hadn't ever been part of something like that before! Currently, I'm a member of the communications team. I’m learning a lot, and these experiences are going to be valuable to me in the future and in the outside world.

Outside of Robotics, I'm involved in theatre and dance. I've been a performer all my life, and I love being in front of people and entertaining them. I also write... a lot. Writing is one of my passions, and I hope that I will keep writing and performing my whole life. After high school, I do plan on attending college, but I'm not particularly sure what college I plan on attending. I would really love to go to Notre Dame, so that's what I'm aiming for. I've also considered Purdue and IU. My career goals have been all over the place as I've wanted to be a fashion designer, a writer, a psychologist, and currently a neurologist. I hope that Robotics will help me become a confident individual who can make a pathway for herself in the world, no matter what career I choose be it an engineer or fashion designer or writer.
