My name is Maggie, and I am a senior at Perry Meridian High School. This is my third year on the robotics team, and I am the sub-team lead on the controls team. My responsibilities as the control team’s lead include supervising and aiding members that are responsible for the electronics and programming on the robot. I first became interested in the robotics team my freshman year when my friends told me about all of the fun experiences they have had since joining the team. This led me to then join the team my sophomore year in High School. I am hoping to pursue a degree in biomedical engineering at Michigan State University. Another big interest of mine is playing my trumpet, which I have been playing for nine years. Since my freshman year, I have been a part of the High School Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, and Jazz Ensemble. I have also played in the Full Orchestra and have participated in every school musical since my freshman year. Due to these experiences, I have decided to pursue a degree in music performance alongside with engineering. I have experienced and learned so much since I first joined the team, and I am very excited to be a part of the team this season.
