My name is Miranda, and this is my second year on the team. I am on the Design/Inventor sub-team. I have been involved with FIRST since the 2005 IRI. Last year was a great experience. I absorbed tons of information. I helped build the POWER robot over the summer, and worked countless hours at the Children’s Museum, in addition to mentoring our middle school FTC team. There are so many opportunities to learn about engineering and teamwork. I also am part of our scouting team for competitions. Outside of robotics, I am also involved in Color Guard, Creative Writing Club, Schools for Schools, and FCA. I also take ballet and tap dance classes a few times a week. After high school, I plan on attending college to become some sort of an engineer. I am looking at Purdue or UC Berkeley. I want to be able to use my mind in a way that will improve the outlook of our future and benefit other people. As a member of Cyber Blue, I plan on learning about all aspects of engineering. My goal is to expand my horizon and take advantage of various opportunities that come before me while on Cyber Blue.
