My name is Steve W., and this is my fifth year on the team. I decided to join the team because I enjoy programming and thought this would be an interesting challenge. Consequently, I am on the programming and electronics teams. When I FIRST saw a competition I was surprised at how hard the robots hit each other. I think I taught the students how to keep the software organized and to break problems down into smaller pieces. Each year we never know what is going to be required, but it is interesting to try things we haven't done before.
